Dr. Tricia Wright

Dr. Wright is an obstetrician and addiction medicine physician specializing in substance use disorders during pregnancy.

Dr. Wright is a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF and a nationally recognized leader in perinatal addiction medicine. She specializes in treating pregnant people with substance use disorders and serves as Medical Director of OBIC, San Francisco’s first and largest buprenorphine clinic. Dr. Wright founded the PATH Clinic in Hawai‘i and has contributed extensively to research, clinical guidelines, education, and policy focused on improving outcomes for pregnant people affected by substance use.
