Dr. Ruchi Fitzgerald

Dr. Fitzgerald is a family and addiction medicine physician, educator, and health policy advocate focused on improving care for people affected by substance use disorders. She serves as an Associate Professor at Rush Medical College and leads addiction medicine services at PCC Community Wellness Center. Dr. Fitzgerald’s work includes perinatal substance use treatment, health equity, medication access, and policy reform, and she has contributed to national and state initiatives focused on pregnant and parenting people affected by substance use.
