Dr. Caitlin Martin

Dr. Martin is an Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and addiction medicine physician. She is the Director of OBGYN Addiction Services and Clinical Director of the OB MOTIVATE program, an integrated addiction and obstetric care program for pregnant and parenting people with substance use disorders. Her research focuses on improving substance use disorder treatment through personalized, biopsychosocial approaches that consider pregnancy, postpartum recovery, sex and gender, and social determinants of health.
